Wonderful Weekend

I just love weekends like this last one…beautiful weather and family fun! It started off Friday night with dinner at Rudy’s (a favorite of ours). After dinner we made an impromptu trip to Cabella’s next door to let Colton look at the “fishies”. He had a blast! I just love little simple family fun nights like this!

He kept saying "look a big one". It was so cute!

On Saturday we went to Sesame Street Live! I had been telling Colton we were going to go see Elmo for a few days before. All day we would ask him "who are we going to go see?" and he would excitedly answer "Elmo!"

And this is the look he had when they came out and for most of the show. He watched so intently and seriously trying to figure out how they came to life. He was just taking it all in. He would say the character's name that was on stage and then ask where they went when they left the stage. :)

We got Colton a glow Elmo toy during intermission and he loves it. He had fun with it for the second half of the show! When the show was over and we were walking out he said "bye bye Elmo. bye bye Ernie. bye bye Big Bird." and so on until he said bye to all the characters.

After we got back from Sesame Street we took a walk and a wagon ride in the beautiful weather.

For dinner we went to another favorite place, Tupy’s. Colton loves eating here because he gets chips and dip, his favorite!!

Sunday we made a trip to the lake. We had not been in a while and wanted to check on the water level and get some much needed yard work done. It was a beautiful day and Colton loved being outside at the Lake!

Of course a trip to the lake is not complete these days with out a ride on the John Deer! :)
