9 Months Old!

Colton turned 9 months old yesterday! He is getting quite a personality! He is becoming silly and funny and is making us laugh all the time! We went to the doctor yesterday and here are his stats and some of his milestones.
• Weight – 18lbs (15 %)
• Height – 29in (75 %)
• Head Circumference – 46cm (70%)
• Sleeping from about 8:00 pm to 7:00/7:30 am – doing really well sleeping through the night!
• Meal time is serious business for Colton! He loves to eat and there has been nothing he has not liked on the baby food front! He eats cereal and fruit for breakfast, veggie or fruit for lunch, and 2 veggies for dinner. He still nurses 4 times a day. We have tried some real fruits and mashed potatoes. He is not sure on them...but we will keep trying!
• He loves puffs and yogurt melts! Yogurt melts are by far his favorite! If you offer him puffs and melts, he will push/throw the puffs aside to eat only the melts!
• He has two bottom teeth and three top teeth and another top one is about to come in.
• He is wearing mostly 9 month size clothing.
• He is becoming very vocal and babbles all the time. He associates “mamma” and “dadda” with us and sometimes says them to us. He has also mastered “uh-oh”. When he drops/throws something on the floor he looks at us and says “uh-oh”!
• He is constantly on the go! He is a fast little crawler and is pulling up on everything!
• He likes interactive toys that make noise and music. He is having a good time with all his new toys from Christmas. He will get either a toy, or piece of paper, or a sock and carry it around with him everywhere while he is playing. It is cute!
• We read books everyday and he really enjoys them. His favorite is the “Animal Sounds” book and he likes to help turn the pages.
• He loves Austin and really likes to go for a ride on her with Daddy’s help!
• He likes to look out the window and blow on the glass! It is really funny and we cannot wait for it to get warmer to go outside and play!
• He loves to cuddle and is such a sweet little boy!

Up and Uh-Oh

And we are up...Colton has officially figured out how to pull up on everything! Colton figured out that if he drops/throws something down we will get it for him. So when he "drops" something now we say "uh-oh" He is now trying sooo hard to say it to! It is adorable!

A Boy and His Dog

Colton loves loves loves Austin! They will be best buds I am sure!

Festive Fun!

This weekend we took Colton to the Frisco Main Street Tree Lighting. It was chilly so we bundled up, went to Babe's for dinner (yummy!) and then headed to Main Street. Colton liked looking at all the lights and people...for a little while at least...
All bundled up and looking at lights!

After about 15 minutes we looked down to find this....guess he got all cozy and warm! :) Next year I am sure he will be all over this fun event! :)

When we got home Colton was awake, so went over to our neighbors house. They decorate their house and yard to extreme and have the lights set to music. On the weekends they dress up like Santa and Mrs. Claus (their grandson was an elf Saturday too) and hand out candy canes to cars that come by to see. So Fun! :)

Also, a couple weeks ago we went to the Gaylord to see all the amazing decorations that they have up! Colton enjoyed all the sights. Photos were a little tricky b/c it was so dark.

  • He is crawling all over the place. He started to pull up in his crib and on a few things that are the right height.
  • He has found interest in anything that is not a toy...especially the newspaper and ads! He thinks it is so fun! He is such a curious explorer!
