Memorial Day

We went to the lake for Memorial Day and to kick off the summer! We love the lake and Colton does too! It was so nice to be out on the water and in the sun!

Arboretum

While my Grandma was still in town, we took her to the Arboretum to see the beautiful flowers and the Chihuly exhibit.  It was amazing! Colton had a good time running around and looking at the "pretty flowers" as he says! Here are some pictures from our trip with GiGi and Mammaw.

 

 

 

 

 

 

What Colton's Been Up To

We have been busy learning new things and having fun! Thought I would post a few pictures and videos of what we have been up to. :)

We have been spending lots of time outside playing in the backyard.  Colton loves loves playing out there. Here he is taking a break in his lounge chair :)

We "grew" sponge bugs and he thought it was the coolest thing!

We have been practicing our full name! :)

On a warm day we got out the water table and Colton had a great time splashing around.  Austin thought it was a big dog bowl of water so she would take drinks from it...well Colton thought it was pretty funny and decided he should do it to! Silly Boy!

Colton helped me make banana bread.  We got this stand for him to use to be able to stand up to the counter. He loves it and loves helping me cook! :)

We transitioned Colton from the highchair to a booster seat at the table.  He loves eating at the table with Mommy and Daddy.  He is growing up too fast!

Colton loves to dance! His favorite thing to dance to is Dash's Dance Party on PBS. 

We are having lots of fun with this silly and active little boy! 

Mother's Day

I had a good Mother's Day with lots of Family Time! It started on Saturday night, Jeff and Colton took me to dinner at Babe's (love love Babe's!!).  We got there at 5:45 and they were already on a hour wait!!! So we got it to go! It was just as yummy! Then Jeff and I watched a movie, which we have not done in forever!

On Sunday, we went to church and then over to my parents house for lunch.  There was a bunch of family in town for my cousin's graduation from SMU, so it was fun to hang out!

So blessed and proud to be this amazing little boy's mommy!!
