3 Months Old!

I cannot believe our baby boy is 3 months old! Where has the time gone?? We are so blessed to have such a wonderful baby! His smile melts our hearts and is such a joy! Here is what Colton is doing:

· Sleeping through the night like a champ! He sleeps from about 9:30/10 ish to 6:30 ish (has been consistent for about 3 weeks now)
· Loves to be standing up. He can somewhat pull himself up from sitting with you holding his hands
· Still loves his swing. We call it his “Happy Place”
· Great head control and we have started using the Bumbo
· Enjoys his baths so much…I think he is a water baby!
· Not a fan of pacifiers, but loves sucking on his hands
· Nursing great and takes a bottle good too…we are not a picky eater!
· Loves to “talk” and smiles all the time
· He has a serious bottom pouty lip!
· Still not a huge fan of tummy time
· Loves to play with toys, enjoys car rides and likes Baby Einstein
· He is wearing mostly 3 month size clothes, some 0-3 if they run big

Back to Work...Sort Of

Today I went back to work...kind of...I am so lucky that Pizza Hut is letting me work part time! I go into the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays and work a little from home here and there. I get to keep benefits too! It is truly the best of both worlds! Although I missed Colton terribly today, it was nice to see my work friends. So, this summer Jeff gets to be Mr. Mom and learn what it is like to care for an infant all day! He will be great and this is priceless bonding time for them! When school starts my Mom will keep Colton on those days I work, so we are also lucky we do not have to find or pay for childcare! It will be an adjustment getting back into work, but I truly could not ask for a better situation!

As for Colton, he is so much fun! I introduced him to Baby Einstein this week. We started with Baby Noah and he loves it. He will get excited at certain things and watch the screen so intently. This is hard to capture in picture, so this is the best I could do!

He also really likes to stand up! He even will pull himself up to standing if you hold his hands...he is a little wobbly, but is strong! Here is a video of him standing!

He also started sucking on his hands! It is funny...he pretty much refuses a pacifier now and prefers his hands. :)

Father's Day and 12 Weeks Old

Hope all the Daddys out there had a great Father's Day! We spent the weekend at the Lake celebrating Father's Day. We had a great time! I am so blessed to have such a wonderful man as a husband and father to Colton! He is so good with him and Colton loves his Daddy!! Here are some photos from the weekend:

Hanging at the Lake Jeff went skiing for the second time this past weekend and did great! He looks like he has been doing it for awhile!
It is hard to believe that Colton is 12 weeks old! He is such a good baby and we cannot imagine our lives without him. We love you Colton!

Weekend Fun and Stuff

We had another great weekend at the lake last weekend. Colton is smiling so much and "talking" to us a lot! I think he has found his voice! He will sometimes stop eatting to "talk" to me...not sure what he is saying, but after he tells me he continues to eat...it is too cute! :) Here are a few pics from the weekend and week.

Schools Out And...

DADDY'S HOME!! Friday was Jeff's last day of school and now he is home playing with us!! Yeay!

2 Months Old and Memorial Day at the Lake

Colton turned 2 months old on Saturday! We cannot believe he is already 2 months and cannot imagine our lives with out him! We went to the doctor today for his check up and first set of shots. He is doing great and below are his stats and what he is doing.

• Weight: 12 lbs 2 oz (55%)
• Length: 24 1/4 inches (90%) (Not sure where this is from!)
• Head Circumference: 40 1/4 cm (55%)
• He is smiling at us all the time and cooing/"talking" too
• He is getting really good head control
• He has started to sleep from 10:30ish to about 6:00
• He loves baths, his lamb swing and mobile on it, car rides, the cow toy on his carrier, having a book read to him, and is really a happy baby
• He wants to be held facing forward to see what is going on
  

2 Month Photos

We went to the lake for the weekend and had a great time! Since Colton enjoys his baths so much, we got him a little pool to let him "swim". He was not really sure about it since it was a little colder than the bath. :) We might have a little water baby on our hands!
