10 Months

Colton turned 10 months old on Saturday! We cannot believe our baby is 10 months old! He is so much fun and we cherish every moment with him! Here is some of his milestones:

• Sleeping from about 8:00 pm to 8:00 am – Mommy loves how he sleeps late!
• Colton still nurses 4 times a day. He eats cereal and fruit for breakfast, veggie with grains and fruit for lunch, and veggies and meat for dinner. We are working on our finger foods, besides our favorite puffs, he will eat Cheerios and bananas. He seems to have a texture issue with new foods that are not pureed...with the exception of chocolate and cinnamon roll, which we let him have a small taste of and he loved! :)
• This boy keeps getting teeth! He now has 4 on top and 3 on bottom with the fourth about to come through!
• He is wearing mostly 9 month and 6 to 12 month size clothing and size 3 diapers.
• He talks a lot these days! No idea where he gets that! :) He loves to scream “dadadada” and when he sees Austin he says “dah”, because he is trying to say doggie. It is really cute!
• This boy is constantly on the go! He is a pro at crawling and is super fast. He is pulling up on everything and cruising around furniture. He has a dinosaur walking toy that he loves to use to walk behind. He is getting brave while standing and will let go and stand for quite a few seconds before he sits down. We have a feeling walking is in the near future...
• He likes all his toys, especially balls, and when he is playing he goes from toy to toy to toy and makes a big mess!
• We still read books everyday before nap time. He loves books and loves to play with them too!
• He adores Austin his doggie and squeals with delight when he sees her.
• He is starting to figure out how to wave hi and bye and it is really cute!
• If you ask him “Where is your bellybutton” and “Where is mommy/daddy’s nose” he will point to them.
• He is such a joy and we love him to pieces!

Wheeee!

Saturday was really nice outside and not too chilly, so we decided to put up the swing Colton got for Christmas. He really enjoyed it and playing outside. We will be using this swing a lot I am sure! :)

We are ready for it to warm up so we can play more outside!!

Out and About

This week I decided to get Colton involved in some activities. We went to "Babies and Books" at the Frisco Library and he loved it! We will be back every week for sure! Another day we went to try out My Gym. He was not sure what to think at first, but ended up having a good time. He really liked the ball pit and the swings! We may try Gymboree and decide which one we like better and start going to those weekly as well. My baby is getting so big!

Colton's First Snow

Sunday it snowed about 5 inches!! It was beautiful!! We took Colton out to experience his first snow! He was not too sure about it...

"What is all that white stuff out there?"

Just like in the movie "A Christmas Story" he fell over backwards because he couldn't move...it was hilarious!

However, Austin thinks the snow is awesome and loves playing in it! She was in heaven!!

9 Month Photo Shoot

We had Colton's 9 month pictures done yesterday. He was all over the place and I was worried we were not going to get any good shots...the photographer must have been using a magic camera because we got a lot of great shots!! We decided to try the Picture People inside buybuyBaby and were really impressed with the results. Here are some of our favorites!
