Colton turned 10 months old on Saturday! We cannot believe our baby is 10 months old! He is so much fun and we cherish every moment with him! Here is some of his milestones:
- Sleeping from about 8:00 pm to 8:00 am – Mommy loves how he sleeps late!
- Colton still nurses 4 times a day. He eats cereal and fruit for breakfast, veggie with grains and fruit for lunch, and veggies and meat for dinner. We are working on our finger foods, besides our favorite puffs, he will eat Cheerios and bananas. He seems to have a texture issue with new foods that are not pureed...with the exception of chocolate and cinnamon roll, which we let him have a small taste of and he loved! :)
- This boy keeps getting teeth! He now has 4 on top and 3 on bottom with the fourth about to come through!
- He is wearing mostly 9 month and 6 to 12 month size clothing and size 3 diapers.
- He talks a lot these days! No idea where he gets that! :) He loves to scream “dadadada” and when he sees Austin he says “dah”, because he is trying to say doggie. It is really cute!
- This boy is constantly on the go! He is a pro at crawling and is super fast. He is pulling up on everything and cruising around furniture. He has a dinosaur walking toy that he loves to use to walk behind. He is getting brave while standing and will let go and stand for quite a few seconds before he sits down. We have a feeling walking is in the near future...
- He likes all his toys, especially balls, and when he is playing he goes from toy to toy to toy and makes a big mess!
- We still read books everyday before nap time. He loves books and loves to play with them too!
- He adores Austin his doggie and squeals with delight when he sees her.
- He is starting to figure out how to wave hi and bye and it is really cute!
- If you ask him “Where is your bellybutton” and “Where is mommy/daddy’s nose” he will point to them.
- He is such a joy and we love him to pieces!
