We stayed at a resort called Waterscape and it was awesome! It was so kid friendly with lots of pools and a big splash park for toddlers! We stayed in a little condo and it was perfect!
Checking out the beach in Florida...no rain, clear water and white sand! Amazing!
This pool is so much fun! I love this place!
Dinner at Floyd's Shrimp House, amazing shrimp and smoked tuna dip with a great view of the beach! Yum!
Day Two
A wonderful morning at the beach! Colton just loved playing in the sand and in the water. He also loved to walk along the water. Needless to say we got our exercise! :) Floating the lazy river with Daddy...looks like these boys have it made!
Having fun swimming in the pool!
Sporting Mommy's shades :)
Evening walk on the beach...so beautiful!
Colton was being such a little ham before bed. He is just having so much fun on vacation! Silly Boy!!
Day Three
Another fun morning on the beach! This is my favorite picture from the trip!Family fun on the beach!
We went to an Air Force Museum that was near where we were staying and it was really neat! They had tons of air crafts. They had an F-16 mock cock pit for the kids or adults to sit in and explore. Of course Colton loved this because there was so many buttons! :) I just love the pic of him peeking out of the cock pit...such a little guy! :)
I love how little Colton looks by these huge air crafts! :)
Dinner at The Lucky Snapper....more yummy sea food with a fascinating view of Destin Harbor and all the fishing boats!
Evening walk on the beach...love it!
Day Four
More fun on the beach!Floating the lazy river with Mommy
We showed Colton how to rinse off his feet when we came off the beach. He thought the rinse stations were so much fun that he had to use one every time he saw it...even if he was not sandy. This picture cracks me up! :)
Playing in the splash area. Colton loved these little water fountains, the animals that sprayed water and going down the slide...with a little assistance :) This are was so great for toddlers!
The resort had a covered play area that Colton loved. He had such a good time going down the little slide and playing in the boat.
We went to dinner at the Crab Trap. We had an amazing crab dip that Colton loved too!
After dinner we walked out on a fishing pier. It was really neat and Colton enjoyed walking it and seeing the big birds that hung out on the pier.
Day Five: Departure Day :(
Colton did this all on his own...did this mean he is ready to go home :)Bye Bye beach and fun resort!
After we checked out, we went back to the fishing pier to see it in daylight. It was beautiful...the water was so clear we saw lots of fish and even a few sharks!
Stopped at the famous Fuddpuckers for lunch before we headed out.
We divided the drive into 2 days on the way back as well, stopping in Vicksburg Mississippi. Before we headed home we went to see one of the best Civil War Battle Fields...what a perfect place for a 15 month old to get out some energy before a car ride! Ha

Wow! What an exciting trip! Y'all look like you had a fantastic time relaxing and enjoying time with one another. The pictures are beautiful and you all look so happy!
