Colton turned 13 months on the 29th. He is so much fun and keeps us busy and laughing! He is such a blessing and wonderful little boy!
• Colton continues to be a great sleeper…he has even been sleeping in some mornings to 9:30!! He is also still taking 2 naps!
• Colton is completely weaned and has whole milk in a sippy cup now. He is becoming a picky eater…we try everything under the sun and he continues to only like his fruit and cereal in the morning, cheerios, goldfish, grilled cheese, pizza, pretty much any kind of bread, chicken nuggets (especially chick-fil-a), banana (he loves these and calls them “nanana”), animal cookies, puffs, waffles, yogurt, and cinnamon toast. We will keep trying!
• He still only has eight teeth
• He is wearing 12 month clothes now and still size 3 diapers.
• He talks all the time!! His favorite word right now is “Hi”. He says it in the sweetest little voice and all the time…it is so cute! He also is saying “Doggie” better by pronouncing the “g” and he just put 2 words together by saying “Hi Doggie”!
• This boy is constantly on the go! He walks everywhere and hardly stops!
• He started to kick balls! He will pick up a ball and drop it then kick it around. I was shocked when he did this and continued to do it! He will be an athlete I am sure…but he really did not have a choice with a coach for a daddy! :)
• He also loves to say “Uh Oh”. One day at Target, we passed a lady and she accidentally dropped a box and as we passed Colton said “Uh Oh” and she cracked up laughing! It was funny! He also says “Uh Oh” when he throws his sippy cup down. I try to tell him this is not an uh oh when you do it on purpose! :)
• Colton loves, loves, loves books. In his playroom he loves to pull all the books off the shelf and open them and look at them. We read books before nap and bed. He liked to turn the pages!
• He has figured out how to feed the dog, and not just by dropping the food, but handing it to her! At the lake, he sits in a booster seat with a tray on a chair to eat. This is very much at the dog’s level. We were all in the kitchen talking while he was eating a snack and we looked over and he was handing the food piece by piece. The funniest thing though was when he realized we were all watching him and he said “Uh Oh” and grinned.
• He has started “dancing” when he hears music by bouncing. It is really cute!
• He loves toy cars and trucks. He will push them all around and go “vrrmmmm”.
• Some of his other favorite things right now are: Elmo, walks and being outside, baths, bubbles, Gymboree, my phone, clapping, balloons, Baby Einstein and Sesame Street videos, his Cozy Coupe Car, his stuffed cow and blanket, and being on the go!

I have been trying to get Colton saying "hi" on film and this is the best I have gotten...you will have to really listen.
