Colton is 5 months old today! He is such a happy sweet baby that gives the best smiles and giggles! Here is what he is up to these days:
- Sleeping from about 8:30-6:30ish with about 3 naps a day…still in the swing…he loves that thing!
- Sleeps on his tummy with his butt in the air! I put him down on his back and by time I get the monitor and turn it on he is on his tummy!
- Likes his rice cereal and tried our first veggie…green beans! He loves them. He will have rice cereal in the morning and baby food in the evening.
- He is putting everything in his mouth and his hands and toes are his favorite. He is drooling a lot too. We are waiting to see that first tooth appear.
- Still in 3 month clothes…but just about ready to move to 3-6 month clothes. Pants and shorts are still big on him in the waist because he is long and skinny. I will put them on him and stand him up and they fall off!
- He is so vocal these days. He “talks”, squeals, grunts, laughs…just makes noises!
- Wants to constantly see what is going on and is very aware of his surroundings.
- Very interested in Austin and always watches her. He thinks it is really neat to pet her!
- Can almost sit on his own and tries really hard, but usually fails forward.
- Still loves to stand up
- Still loves his baths and now kicks almost the entire time…we have moved to the big bath tub because of water everywhere!
We tried our first taste of baby food on Friday... green beans and he loved them!
