State Fair with Colton

Jeff and I took Colton on a special one on one outing to the State Fair.  He was sooooo excited to go and we had the best time with just our little boy!  We saw animals, played games, rode rides, saw trains and the dog show, said hi to big tex, and ate yummy food.  Perfect day!

First stop was the petting zoo.  Colton enjoyed feeding the animals...but only from the shovel. :)

 Time for fair food! Colton was sooooo excited to get a big cinnamon roll! He loved it!

 And of course we had a Fletcher's corny dog...the best! And this is what you get when your 4 year old tries to take your picture. Hehe :)

"Howdy Folks" - Big Tex

 Colton had fun playing a few games.  He threw the beanbag ball and popped the balloon all on his own! We and him were sooo proud!

 He won this fun tiger bear, as he calls it. ;)

 Time for rides! He LOVED this part! He thought there were all sooo fun but loved the fast one he rode with Daddy best!

 We went to see the train display and they had a Thomas and Percy train running.  When we were watching the trains one of the guys who set up the tracks was there.  He talked to Colton about the trains and even let him hold Percy.  As you can tell from his smile in this picture...I think this was one of the best moments of Colton's fair trip!
