We started of the day with a fun Halloween craft making a monster!
After Jeff got home from work, we packed up and headed to my sister's house for dinner and trick or treating. Their neighborhood is all about trick or treating with lots of decorations and kids everywhere! I was in charge of dessert and decided to get crafty and have some fun making graveyard brownies and skeleton cupcakes!
This year Colton was a Cowboy and he was so excited about it! His costume was complete with chaps and a horse!
So, when we (or anyone else) would ask Colton what he was going to be for Halloween he would say "A Cowboy. Yee Haw! What are you going to be for Halloween?" We would always say we did not know (bc we really were not planning on dressing up) and ask him what he thought we should be...well he said I was to be a pirate and Jeff a dinosaur. Luckily we had a few things on had we could make it work! :)

And we're off to trick or treat! Colton had the best time! He did so good. He would go up to the door, knock on it, say "trick or treat" when in opened and then "thank you! bye" after getting the candy all by himself! We went up with him at first then realized we did not need to and stood back a little and let him do it! It was so fun to watch him be so confident and polite and having so much fun. Guess our baby is growing up!
As you can see in the previous picture...the horse did not last long. He wore it for a little bit then just stopped and said "I don't like this horsey anymore. Take it off". Oh well we tried! :)
It was funny when Colton got a sucker he would immediately open it and eat it as we were still trick or treating! We went through 2 suckers!
Then when we were done and got back to my sister's he had a cupcake!
Well after such a fun Halloween night and 2 suckers and a cupcake...does this kid look ready for bed???
