State Fair

Jeff took off work on Monday so we could have a fun day at the fair! We packed up and left the house at 9 on a beautiful morning.  Colton had so much fun this year and we did too watching him enjoy it!
They have an exhibit called "Little Farmers Helping Hands" where kids get to learn all about things on the farm.  They pretend to milk cows, plant seeds, grow veggies, pick peaches, feed chickens and collect eggs and other farm activities.  After they complete all the tasks, then they get a "dollar" to get some thing from the store.  Colton loved this!!
Picking the peaches and watering the seed we planted.
Feeding the chickens and gathering eggs and feeding the pigs.
"Paying" the cashier for a bag a Cheetos...no surprise on his choice!
 Silly Daddy and Colton
Colton loved seeing the horses! We had to come back later and see them again too!
"Giddy up!" After we sat him on the saddle he said " I need my cowboy hat" hahaha!
Yummy Corny Dogs!!!!
This year we let Colton play a few games.  He loved plying with these duckies! Luckily it was not crowded at all and the attendant let Colton play with duckies for a little bit.
Then we went to the game where you throw a ball at a balloon for it to pop.  The attendants are so nice and good with the little ones.  I think Colton threw the ball like 15 times! He had fun!
He chose a stuffed apple and a stuffed banana as his prizes!?!? Silly boy...but let me tell you, he was super proud of them and really like them! :)
Then we went to go ride some rides! Colton liked riding the flying elephants with Mommy!
His favorite was the race cars with Daddy! They would whip around the corner real fast and every time Colton would just crack up laughing!
Checking out the "big wheel" with Daddy.
We enjoyed the petting zoo.  He loves loves animals!
Feeding the baby giraffe...
 and the "longhorn"...
 and the baby deer...
and a cow.  He loved feeding all the animals!
See ya next year Big Tex!
