6 Months Old

Wow! I cannot believe our baby boy is 6 months old! He has changed so much in those short 6 months. He is wonderful! We go to the doctor next week, so I will post stats then, but in the meantime, this is what Colton in up to these days:

• Sleeping from about 8:00-7:00ish. Until this last week or so with a wake up time of 5:30ish! Hope this stops soon!! Takes about 2 naps a day…still in the swing most of the time.
• He loves his baby food and is not a picky eater. He has liked everything we have given him: green beans, carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, peas and bananas. We just started on the fruits. He will have rice cereal and fruit in the morning and veggies in the evening.
• His bottom two center teeth have broke through! Still putting everything in his mouth and drooling…so more teeth to come!
• Wearing 3-6 month clothes and some 6 month clothes. Pants are still big in the waist.
• He is making all sorts of noises: “mamama, dadada, bababa, mmmmm” and bunch of other sounds. Not sure he has put the mamama and dadada with their meanings yet.
• Loves to play with his toys and wants to be checking it all out!
• Pushes up from his belly onto his knees and rocks back and forth. Waiting for the day he figures out how to crawl. He is moving around on his belly though to get to toys.
• Loves Austin. He smiles when she enters the room and “talks” to her. He really likes to pet her too!
• Can sit up unassisted for a few minutes. He normally falls to the side reaching for something.
• Loves his baths. Although we have moved to the big tub he somehow still manages to splash and get us wet!
• He is a really happy baby and loves to laugh, “talk”, smile and be with people!

On all fours...

When we go to the store now we use this cart thing and he loves it. He likes being able to see everything. This cart thing is awesome because it has a strap that goes around his chest to hold him up so he can enjoy the cart before he is able to sit up unassisted!The shirt says it all! :)
